What is Web Summit?
In six short years, Web Summit has grown from 400 attendees to over 50,000 attendees from more than 150 countries. No technology conference has ever grown so large so fast. Where does Web Summit take place?
Web Summit 2016 is taking place in the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and Meo Arena, R. Bojador, 1998-010 Santa Maria dos Olivais, Lisbon, Portugal.
What does my Web Summit ticket entitle me to?
A standard Web Summit ticket grants you entry to Web Summit 2016 on November 7-10 as well as access to Web Summit satellite events, networking events and Night Summit parties. A premium ticket includes all of the above and access to the VIP Networking Lounge. A platinum ticket will include all of the above plus access to the VIP Networking and Speakers Lounge. How can I register for Web Summit?
To register for Web Summit, you must download our app which will be available to download closer to the time. Here you will find your QR code. Please present this along with photo ID at registration.

What does a Women in Tech ticket entitle me to?
A Women in Tech ticket is equivalent to a standard ticket and entitles you to entry to Web Summit 2016 on November 7-10 as well as access to Web Summit satellite events, networking events and parties. This includes the following benefits:
Access to all stage talks
Access to exhibition floor
Access to attendee database during event
Ability to contact attendees during event
Wristband to Night Summit
Can I transfer my ticket to another person during the conference?
No, each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the conference.
I can’t attend Web Summit anymore. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately not. We have a strict no refunds policy, which you can find in our terms and conditions. You can however change the name on your ticket prior to the event, and have someone else go in your place.
Can I resell my Web Summit tickets?
As laid out in our Terms and Conditions, you cannot sell your Web Summit ticket. Doing so will result in a void ticket and the ticket holder will not gain entry into the event. This also applies to our subsidised tickets (Women in Tech, Student Scholarship, Open Source). If you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I change the name on my ticket?

Do you sell one-day tickets?
We don’t offer one-day tickets. Please refer to our ticket page here.
I have a disability and I need my carer to assist me at Web Summit. Do I need to buy a ticket for my carer?
We would be happy to accommodate your needs. Please email email@example.com where the team can advise you further.
Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Is there a schedule available?
You can check out what to expect at Web Summit here. A more detailed schedule will be made available closer to the event. It will be available on our website and in our attendee app.
Do you pay for travel?
Unfortunately, we can’t pay for travel expenses for Web Summit.
Do you offer discounted flight rates?
Yes, we have partnered with TAP airlines and we can offer a 10% discount on economy flights and a 20% discount on business class flights to and from Lisbon. I need a visa to attend, can you help me?
While we will not engage directly with your relevant embassy, we will happily send you an invitation letter once you purchase your ticket. To receive your letter, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your booking reference. Please note that your embassy will require notice before issuing your visa. To see if you need a visa, please refer to this list.
What is the dress code for Web Summit?
There is no specific dress code for Web Summit, however people tend to dress smart casual.
